New heart valve tested for severe aortic stenosis

Summary

This early study is testing a new device called the Siegel TAVR system for people with severe, symptomatic aortic stenosis. It aims to see if the device is safe and works well when implanted without open-heart surgery. The study will enroll about 30 adults who are eligible for this type of valve replacement procedure.
