Summary
This study tests a program to help doctors and nurses in Nigeria prescribe hydroxyurea, a medicine that reduces pain and complications from sickle cell disease. The program includes training, reminders, and support for healthcare workers. About 900 patients aged 1 year and older who are not currently on hydroxyurea will take part.
