Summary

This study is testing a new oral medication called osivelotor for people with sickle cell disease. The main goals are to see if the pill can safely increase hemoglobin levels and reduce the number of painful crises (VOCs) that require medical care. The trial involves nearly 400 participants aged 12 and older and is sponsored by Pfizer.
