New implant aims to lock away chronic back pain

Summary
This study is testing a small titanium implant called iFuse TORQ. The goal is to see if fusing the sacroiliac joint with this device can safely reduce chronic lower back and buttock pain. It will involve about 110 adults who have had pain for at least six months that hasn't improved with other treatments.
