Scientists test new Painkiller's safety in kidney patients

NCT ID NCT07189962

Summary

This study looked at how a new injection for severe pain after surgery, called SHR8554, moves through and leaves the bodies of people with reduced kidney function. It compared 20 participants, some with kidney problems and some healthy, to see if the drug behaves differently. The main goal was to understand the drug's safety and how the body processes it in these different groups.
