First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests a new drug called SHR-2173 in 10 adults with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a condition where the immune system destroys platelets, causing bleeding. The main goal is to see if the drug is safe and tolerable. Researchers will also check if it helps raise platelet counts over several weeks. This is not a cure; the drug aims to manage the disease.
