Blood flow restriction training: a lighter way to build shoulder muscle?
NCT ID NCT07186231
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested whether low-load strength training with blood flow restriction (BFR) works as well as traditional high-load training for shoulder muscles. Twenty-three healthy adults did one of the two workouts twice a week for four weeks. Researchers measured changes in muscle mass, strength, power, and endurance to see if the lighter BFR method could match the heavier training.
