Can lighter weights with blood flow restriction build shoulder muscle like heavy lifting?

NCT ID NCT07186231

Summary

This study compared two shoulder strength training approaches: low-weight training with blood flow restriction (BFR) versus traditional high-weight training. Researchers tested 23 healthy adults to see if both methods produced similar improvements in shoulder strength, power, endurance, and muscle size. Participants trained twice a week for four weeks in one of the two programs, with measurements taken before and after.
