Needle vs. light: new trial tests pain relief for aching shoulders

NCT ID NCT07247825

Summary

This study aims to see if a minimally invasive needle treatment works better than laser therapy for reducing pain and improving movement in people with chronic shoulder tendon problems. It will involve 40 adults who have had shoulder pain for at least a month. Researchers will compare the short-term effects of a single session of ultrasound-guided electrolysis (a small electric current delivered via a needle) to a session of laser therapy.
