Can wobble boards fix your shoulder? new study tests balance training for rotator cuff tears

NCT ID NCT07482735

Summary

This study is testing if adding 'perturbation' exercises to standard physical therapy helps people with partial rotator cuff tears. Perturbation exercises involve controlled, unexpected movements to improve shoulder stability and reflexes. Sixty participants will be randomly assigned to receive either standard therapy or standard therapy plus these special exercises, and their pain, strength, and function will be measured.
