Tape tested to ease Dentists' aching shoulders
NCT ID NCT07393100
Summary
This study tested if applying a special elastic tape (kinesiology tape) to the shoulder could quickly reduce pain and improve function for dental students. 56 final-year students with shoulder pain from clinical work had the tape applied three times over a week. Researchers measured changes in their pain levels, shoulder function, quality of life, and job satisfaction before and after the taping sessions.
