Pilot trial seeks best fix for unstable shoulders
NCT ID NCT03585491
Summary
This study is a pilot to see if a larger trial is possible to compare two common surgeries for a shoulder that keeps dislocating. It will enroll about 86 adults to test a less invasive soft-tissue repair against a more involved bone-transfer procedure. The main goal is to check if researchers can recruit enough people and follow them for two years to eventually learn which surgery works better at preventing future dislocations and improving function.
