Which biceps surgery heals shoulders better?
NCT ID NCT07394348
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two common biceps tendon procedures works better when performed alongside rotator cuff repair surgery. Researchers will compare biceps tenotomy (cutting the tendon) versus tenodesis (re-attaching the tendon) in 50 adults aged 50-70. They will measure which technique results in less pain, better shoulder function, and stronger grip and arm strength after surgery.
