New shoulder surgery technique aims to improve arm rotation
NCT ID NCT07464977
Summary
This study aims to find out if a newer shoulder replacement technique provides better arm rotation and muscle function than the standard method. Researchers will enroll 130 patients with severe shoulder arthritis and irreparable rotator cuff tears. They will compare how well patients can rotate their arms and how their shoulder muscles work after receiving one of the two different implant placements.
