First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a small bone-filling step during shoulder surgery helps athletes return to their sport at the same level within a year. About 120 adults with shoulder instability and a specific bone defect will be randomly assigned to get the extra filling or not. The main goal is to see if the extra step improves recovery for recreational, competitive, or professional athletes.
