New Long-Lasting numbing shot tested to cut pain pills after shoulder surgery

NCT ID NCT07410182

Summary

This study compares two numbing medicines given as nerve blocks to control pain after shoulder surgery. Researchers want to see if a newer, longer-lasting version (liposomal bupivacaine) works better than the standard version (plain bupivacaine) at reducing pain and the need for opioid painkillers. The goal is to find safer, more effective ways to manage pain and help patients recover faster.
