New injection tested to stop severe pain spike after shoulder surgery

NCT ID NCT07196631

Summary

This study compares two numbing injections given near the nerves of the shoulder to see which one better prevents a common, severe pain flare-up after arthroscopic shoulder surgery. Researchers are testing a newer, long-lasting numbing medicine against a standard one in 100 adults. The goal is to find a more effective way to manage post-surgery pain and improve recovery.
