Summary

This study compared two different nerve block techniques for managing pain after shoulder surgery. Researchers tested which method provided better pain relief while using less opioid pain medication and causing fewer breathing problems. Sixty patients having planned shoulder surgery were randomly assigned to receive one of the two nerve blocks before their operation.
