New nerve block challenges standard for shoulder surgery pain relief
NCT ID NCT07278050
Summary
This study compares two different nerve block techniques to manage pain after arthroscopic shoulder surgery. Researchers want to see if a newer nerve block method works as well as the current standard to reduce pain and the need for opioid painkillers. The study involves 60 adults having shoulder surgery and will measure their pain levels and medication use for 24 hours after their operation.
