New shoulder surgery technique aims to protect breathing while controlling pain
NCT ID NCT07338630
Summary
This study compares two methods of numbing nerves during shoulder surgery. Researchers want to see if combining two specific nerve blocks reduces breathing problems that sometimes occur with the standard approach, while still providing good pain relief. The study will involve 60 adults having shoulder surgery and will measure breathing function, pain control, and side effects.
