Summary

This study compares two antibiotics, Ceftriaxone and Cefazolin, to see which is better at preventing Propionibacterium acnes infections during shoulder surgery. About 88 adults having primary open shoulder surgery will participate. The goal is to reduce bacteria on the skin and lower infection risk.
