Faster recovery from shoulder surgery? anesthesia method may hold the key
NCT ID NCT07093905
Summary
This study aims to find out if using only local numbing anesthesia leads to a quicker recovery after rotator cuff shoulder surgery compared to using both local and general anesthesia. It will involve 34 adults needing this common outpatient procedure. Researchers will measure how long it takes patients to become fully alert and ready to leave the recovery room after their operation.
