Summary
This study aimed to understand how a reverse shoulder replacement affects muscle strength and stiffness. Researchers measured 34 patients who had the surgery at least a year prior, comparing their operated shoulder to their healthy one. They used special strength tests and an ultrasound technique to measure muscle elasticity, seeking to link these physical properties to how well the shoulder functions in daily life.
