New shoulder repair implant aims to prevent Re-Tearing

Summary

This study is evaluating a special implant called TAPESTRY® that surgeons use during shoulder surgery to repair torn rotator cuff tendons. The main goal is to see how well this implant helps prevent the repaired tendon from tearing again after surgery. Researchers will follow 170 adults with shoulder tendon tears for at least 6 months after their repair surgery to check healing.
