Researchers scan shoulders to unlock mystery of stroke pain
NCT ID NCT07426965
Summary
This study aims to understand if what doctors see on a shoulder ultrasound is linked to how much pain a person feels after a stroke. Researchers will enroll 100 adults who have had a stroke in the last six months and are experiencing shoulder pain on their weakened side. They will use pain rating scales and a standard shoulder ultrasound to look for connections between physical changes and pain levels.
