Nerve zap vs. nerve block: which works better for shoulder pain?

NCT ID NCT07302490

Summary

This study compared two procedures for people with chronic shoulder pain that didn't improve with standard treatments. 104 participants received either a nerve-blocking injection or a nerve ablation (a treatment that uses heat to quiet the nerve). Researchers tracked their pain, shoulder function, and quality of life for three months to see which treatment provided more lasting relief.
