New shoulder therapy aims to ease pain and fear of movement
NCT ID NCT06838767
Summary
This study tested whether adding a 'kinetic chain' physical therapy approach to standard treatment was better for reducing shoulder pain and improving movement in people with rotator cuff tendinopathy. It involved 44 adults aged 40-65 with recent shoulder pain, who were split into two groups for a 6-month treatment period. Researchers measured changes in pain levels, shoulder function, and fear of re-injury to see which approach worked better.
