Shaking or scraping? new study tests therapies for common shoulder pain
NCT ID NCT07291843
Summary
This study tested whether adding vibration therapy or a special scraping technique (IASTM) to standard physical therapy works better for shoulder pain from impingement syndrome. 48 adults aged 40-60 with confirmed shoulder pain received one of the three treatment plans for four weeks. Researchers measured changes in pain, shoulder movement, and daily function to see which approach helped most.
