Summary
This study tested whether strengthening the muscles that press down the upper arm bone (humeral head depressors) can improve shoulder function and reduce pain in people with subacromial impingement syndrome. 40 adults with shoulder pain for over a month were split into two groups: one did the special exercises, the other did standard care. Researchers measured changes in shoulder space and tendon thickness using ultrasound.
