New shoulder pain treatment trial tests combined injection approach

Summary
This study is testing whether adding a nerve block to a standard steroid injection provides better pain relief for people with frozen shoulder. Researchers will compare pain levels, shoulder function, and medication use between the two approaches over 8 weeks. The trial involves 50 adults who haven't gotten relief from basic treatments.
