First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether adding famotidine (a heartburn drug) to standard pain relievers (paracetamol and ibuprofen) works better for shoulder pain caused by calcific tendinitis. About 200 adults with confirmed calcium deposits in the shoulder will be followed for 12 months. The goal is to see if the combination improves pain, function, and reduces the need for extra treatments.
