New shot and stretch combo tested for Post-Stroke shoulder pain
NCT ID NCT05845125
Summary
This study aimed to see if a specific treatment was better at easing shoulder pain in people recovering from a recent stroke. It compared two approaches: one group received physical therapy plus a steroid injection and a gentle shoulder joint stretching procedure, while the other group received only physical therapy. The goal was to find out which method worked better to reduce pain and improve shoulder movement and daily function over three months.
