Zapping shoulder pain: new study tests two Drug-Free therapies for stroke survivors

Summary
This study aims to see which of two pain-relief methods works better for shoulder pain that often occurs after a stroke. Researchers will compare low-dose laser therapy with transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) in 45 recent stroke survivors. The main goal is to reduce pain, while also checking if the treatments improve arm movement, sleep, and overall quality of life.
