First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a specific shoulder stretching technique called mobilization can immediately improve muscle strength and body awareness (proprioception) in healthy young adults. 48 people aged 18-25 took part, with half receiving the real mobilization and half a fake (sham) treatment. Researchers measured strength and position sense before and after to see if the mobilization had an effect.
