New implant aims to stop shoulder tears from coming back

NCT ID NCT06741527

Summary

This study is testing a surgical implant designed to support and strengthen the repair of a torn rotator cuff in the shoulder. It will follow 150 patients after surgery to see if the implant helps prevent the tear from happening again and improves shoulder function and pain. The main goal is to check the implant's safety and see how well it works by looking at MRI scans one year after the operation.
