Tracking a decade of data on salvage shoulder implants
NCT ID NCT05358574
Summary
This study follows patients for up to 10 years after receiving a specialized shoulder implant used as a backup option when the originally planned surgery isn't possible during the operation. Researchers are collecting long-term data to confirm the implant's safety, how well it works, and its benefits to patients. The study includes up to 40 patients who received the implant between 2009 and 2020, tracking any complications and measuring shoulder function and quality of life over time.
