Chair vs. Tug-of-War: finding a simpler fix for a Popped-Out shoulder
NCT ID NCT07301931
Summary
This study tested two different methods for putting a dislocated shoulder back into its socket. Researchers compared a newer, simpler 'modified chair technique' against the more common 'traction-counter traction' method. They wanted to see which one was more successful and caused less pain during the procedure. The trial involved 68 adults with acute anterior shoulder dislocations.
