Can your Shoulder's shape predict your pain?

NCT ID NCT06878846

Summary

This study aimed to understand if a specific angle of the shoulder bones, seen on an MRI scan, is connected to how well a person can sense their shoulder's position and their level of disability. Researchers measured this angle and tested joint awareness and pain in 101 adults with chronic shoulder impingement. The goal was to gather knowledge to potentially improve future treatment approaches, not to test a new treatment.
