Bone angle linked to shoulder disability in new study

NCT ID NCT06878846

First seen Jan 30, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looked at 101 adults with shoulder impingement syndrome to see if the angle of a specific shoulder bone (critical shoulder angle) is related to how well they sense their joint position and how much disability they feel. Researchers measured the bone angle from MRI scans and tested joint awareness with a simple tool. The goal was to better understand the condition, not to test a new treatment.
