Summary
This study tests whether Shouhui Tongbian Capsule, a traditional Chinese herbal medicine, can relieve constipation caused by opioid painkillers in cancer patients. About 270 adults with stable cancer and opioid-induced constipation will take the capsule or a placebo for 8 weeks. The goal is to see if it increases bowel movements and improves quality of life, while also checking safety and how it affects gut bacteria.
