Six-Month drug cocktail aims to slash TB treatment time

NCT ID NCT07198685

Summary

This study is testing whether a new 6-month, all-oral combination of four drugs is as effective and safe as the standard, much longer treatment for drug-resistant tuberculosis (TB). It will involve 52 adults in Hubei Province, China, who have this hard-to-treat form of TB. The goal is to see if this shorter regimen can control the disease just as well, which would make treatment easier for patients.
