Study finds hope for shorter heart meds in babies

NCT ID NCT04837261

Summary

This study looked at whether giving infants with a fast heart rhythm condition (SVT) medication for just four months works as well as longer treatment. Researchers followed 107 babies under 6 months old to see if the shorter treatment safely prevented the fast heart rate from coming back. They compared these results to babies who had received longer treatment in the past.
