Could 4 months of medication be enough for infant heart condition?
NCT ID NCT04837261
First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving heart-rhythm medication for only 4 months is safe and works well for infants with supraventricular tachycardia (SVT). Researchers followed 107 babies aged 6 months or younger and checked how many had the fast heart rhythm return after stopping the medication. The goal was to see if a shorter treatment time could be just as effective as longer courses.
