Could 3-Hour induction cut labor time by 6 hours?

NCT ID NCT07492186

Summary

This study tests whether using a balloon catheter for only 3 hours during labor induction works as well as the standard 12-hour method. Researchers want to see if the shorter time reduces the total induction-to-birth interval by at least 6 hours without increasing risks to mother or baby. The study will include 280 pregnant women who need labor induction and compare outcomes between the two approaches.
