Could a shorter chemo course be just as good for stomach cancer?
NCT ID NCT03399110
Summary
This study is testing if a shorter, 4-month course of chemotherapy is as effective as the standard 6-month course for patients who have had surgery for stomach cancer. It involves over 1,000 patients and aims to see if the shorter treatment can prevent cancer from returning just as well while causing fewer side effects. The goal is to find a treatment plan that is easier for patients to tolerate.
