Summary
This study aimed to see if a shorter, 3-week course of antibiotics works as well as the standard 6-week course for treating bone infections in the feet of people with diabetes, when surgery isn't needed. It was designed to test if reducing antibiotic use could help fight drug-resistant bacteria while still healing the infection. The trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
