Shorter implants could simplify complex jawbone surgeries

NCT ID NCT07271134

Summary

This study aims to see if shorter dental implants work as well as regular-length implants for people who don't have enough bone height in their upper back jaw. Researchers will compare the survival rate, bone loss, complications, and patient satisfaction between the two types over at least three years. The goal is to find out if shorter implants can help patients avoid more complex and invasive bone-grafting surgeries.
