Tiny implants tested for major dental work
NCT ID NCT02877433
Summary
This study tested whether very short 4mm dental implants could work as well as standard-length implants to support a permanent, full lower-jaw bridge. It involved 53 adults who had lost all their lower teeth and had significant jawbone loss. Researchers compared two different combinations of short and standard implants over three years to see which setup was more successful.
