Summary

This study compared two treatments for chronic muscle pain in the shoulder and neck area. Researchers tested whether a non-invasive shockwave therapy was as effective as a more common dry needling treatment at reducing pain and improving function. The trial involved 53 adults who had experienced this specific muscle pain for at least three months.
