Shockwaves target unbearable skin itch
NCT ID NCT07206680
Summary
This study tested whether shockwave therapy could reduce severe itching in people with neurodermatitis, a chronic skin condition. Researchers enrolled 34 patients aged 55-75 to receive the non-invasive treatment. The goal was to see if this approach could provide relief where conventional medications often fall short or cause side effects.
